Post-Secondary Education Scholarship

The Angel B. Wilson Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial support and mentorship to individuals impacted by gun violence. This year, we will be awarding two $1000 scholarships to two deserving high school students.

2023 - 2024 Scholarship Requirements

• Be a graduating senior from a public high school in Florida

• Have at least a 3.0 Unweighted GPA (must submit an official transcript)

• Submit a completed scholarship application

• Submit a 500-word (maximum) essay about reducing gun violence in your community

• Submit a 300-word (maximum) essay about how losing a loved one to gun violence has impacted you

• Submit a copy of a college acceptance letter

• Submit a resume

• Submit two letters of recommendation from a teacher, community leader, supervisor, etc.

• Submit a photograph that will be used for promotional purposes
